Ready for my close up!

Amazing things really do come in small packages and little Ivy is no exception. She came to the studio with mum and dad and was an absolute dream right away. We think right from the get go she was shouting ‘Ready for my close up’. Mum and dad had some lovely family shots snuggled into their cute little newborn. Eyes wide open, Ivy was ready to show us what she was made of.

Mum had already said Ivy doesn’t like being naked so we swaddled her in white for the first shots. Eyes bold and beautiful, she worked her magic for the camera. She was so composed she let us get stuck in capturing those precious tiny details. Lips, toes, hands, feet. Everything.

We put Ivy in our delicate floral crown and before we knew it, the yawns were in full swing. She was letting us know she was ready for a nap. Perfect we thought. This is when newborn photography really comes to life…when little one sleeps! Surrounded by peach and blush roses we delicately placed her in the basket and got snapping. Naked shots were next and would you look at those adorable wrinkles. We love to keep babies as natural as possible when editing and keep all their amazing quirky features too.

What a lovely, easy going session this was. Can all babies please enter our studio shouting I’m ready for my close up now please? We loved having you at the studio Ivy. You’re a little legend.
