Baby Delilah

Oh Delilah! What a beautiful bundle of joy you are. We welcomed Baby Delilah, mum, dad and big bro Ezra to the studio last month. They are the coolest little gang and were so relaxed and easy going from the start. Big brother Ezra was incredible at holding his little sister in the chair. The older brother protective instincts coming out already. Full of smiles, Ezra was so well behaved and such a pleasure to work with. Baby Delilah settled throughout showing she was super comfortable in her new surroundings. We keep the studio nice and toasty for newborn sessions. This really helps when transitioning baby from one backdrop to another especially if one requires a swaddle and the next is for naked shots.

Delilah slept throughout her shoot and mum wanted a touch of femininity so added the colour pop of pink to the background. We usually prefer working with neutral colours as they are just so timeless and will last through the years if you change your home decor. But these photos, with their pink burst of colour work so well with Delilah’s perfect skin tone. We love this combination of the delicate floral headband against the blush pink setting.

We loved using our flower ring for Baby Delilah’s shoot as we rarely get requests to use it now. She was an absolute dream to work with and we hope to have her back with us in a few months when she’s sitting and crawling and ready for her 6-8 month sitter session. X
