Anaya’s First Birthday Cake Smash!

In April we welcomed back little Anaya and her lovely family! This is our fifth session with this family in the space of a year, proving you can never have enough photos and you can never have enough fun with your family in our studio. We absolutely loved capturing Anaya’s first birthday cake smash with her personalised backdrop and delicate lace dress her dad picked out especially. Mum even made then most magical birthday cake from scratch. For a first attempt at creating a cake we think mum deserves a gold medal.

Queen Anaya was a little cautious of the balloons at first and it was her royal right to get them removed. So that is exactly what we did. Straight away Anaya picked up her personalised wooden spoon and proceeded to tuck into her delicious golden cake. She was much more happier now and loved tasting the delicious icing. She was a delicate little eater and enjoyed using her spoon. Mum and dad encouraged her to get all hands in which she glad obliged with. Before we knew it, icing was everywhere. On her feet, on her nose, just everywhere. Exactly how we like it.

We look forward to photographing this lovely family again in the summer for some outdoor fun!
