A little ray of sunshine called Charlotte

Our morning was made when this beautiful newborn came into the studio. She was a little ray of sunshine from start to finish. Mum arrived at the studio and by chance matched one of our swaddles. This worked really well for the family shots. We love a bit of synchronicity, so Well done mum!

Charlotte was wide awake to begin with but still didn’t make a sound. She loved taking in her new surroundings and exploring with those deep beautiful eyes. She was such a good little model she even allowed us to pose her and swaddle her awake, which is a rarity for newborns.

Once she drifted to the land of nod, we swaddled her again so she was snug as a bug. We then styled her with the most delicate headbands to show off those gorgeous locks. We know we’re onto a winning shoot when the ‘Russian doll’ pose is a success. Charlotte’s little hands came together in a prayer pose and that little smile made a sparkling appearance. If you don’t melt at that picture, you’re made of stone.

Content till the end, Charlotte allowed us to manoeuvre her into lots of different poses. We keep the studio as toasty as possible to help babies sleep because we know the more comfortable they are the better the session will be.

Thank you to baby Charlotte for being a superstar and a big thank you to mum and dad for being so relaxed in the studio. This was such a gorgeous shoot and we are so so happy with the pictures. We hope you all love them too!
