Corporate Property shoot for YourNest, Leeds
Corporate Property Shoot
From time to time to time I take a step away from the studio and photograph for some of my lovely corporate clients. My most recent project moved from little one’s and toddlers to students, photographing some lovely student properties in Leeds. Now, I’m not going to lie, student digs are not in the best of shape and photos really are the barrier to enquiries if not done correctly but this shoot was very successful. Most of my time was spent moving obstacles and re-arranging rooms to be clutter free but that aside I was very surprised at the standard of student properties compared to when I was living in digs 10 years ago. Taking room shots may seem like a doddle but in reality there are a number of things to consider given the size and shape of rooms which make it difficult to capture the space.
My top tips would be;
-Gain some height and find something to stand on
-Use a wide angle lens to capture the size of the room
-Shoot in daylight
-Open the curtains to let as much light in as possible
-Make the bed (beds are always unmade!)
