Adorable Maya’s Newborn Shoot

On the 9th of August 2018, I was delighted when the adorable Maya and her parents came for her Newborn shoot in our Horsforth studio in Leeds.

Maya was an absolute pleasure to have in my studio as she was asleep for the majority of the shoot. She was extremely well behaved throughout the entire shoot. May was able to lay peacefully snuggled up in our soft fabric. The Sleepy and close-up shots are the best photos for us to capture. This is so that we can do a variety of positions and shots including getting facial features.

Whilst Maya was sound asleep, I was able to swaddle her our beautiful Mauve and creme fabrics. I especially love the colour mauve on Maya as it really compliments her hair colour. Whilst Maya slept, I was able to capture a variety of close-ups photos of her features. I love giving parents close-ups shots as they can look back at them in the future to see how they’ve changed. As Maya was sleeping, I was able to comfortably wrap her into the fabric and lay her peacefully into our little bowls. For a lot of the photos, I wasn’t able to get as many photos with her eyes open as she was really sleepy.

It was so lovely to meet parents and to finally meet their new baby girl. Congratulations on your bundle of joy, she is perfect. And welcome to the world, Little Maya!
