Smile for the Camera

Look at this gorgeous face! So many expressions! A newborn shoot like no other; the perfect little man with so much versatility. This first image and the cheeky smile for the camera is a definite favourite. He came to the studio with mum and dad and settled straight away. He was in and out of sleep for the shoot but nothing phased him. A relaxed little bunny indeed.

We could have photographed him all day long. The facial expressions were never ending. He was such a chilled baby. Those gorgeous lips even had a touch of blue steel/Zoolander about them. Incredible. Mum said he was such a wriggler in the womb. But today, he was letting us pose him any which way. No fuss at all. Mum filled out our new questionnaire which was great. It’s so good engaging with new parents to be and recording some of their experiences. It really helps other expectant parents, especially if there’s something they haven’t thought about before. 

Some of the things mum note was:

• She craved McDonald’s banana milkshakes and apple pies
• Essential item = nappies
• Best parenting advice she received was NOT to listen to advice
• Gave birth at LGI (Leeds) and was so impressed with everything.
• Had a c-section which she noted wasn’t as bad as she had expected.

This little guy gave his mum a nice break whilst on set with us. And he was on his very best behaviour. He’s a little superstar already and we just hope mum manages to get lots more breaks as their journey progresses. But saying that, he is a newborn sooooo…
