Gabriel’s jungle themed cake smash session

Since I opened the studio in 2016 we have seen so many people come through our door. From newborn babies to 90 year old grandparents. As the years have gone by many of these clients have returned again and again. One of those clients is little Gabriel and his beautiful family. This family have trusted us in recording so many milestones of theirs and Gabriel’s life it has been wonderful. So as you can imagine, when they called to book in for his cake smash session myself and our staff we’re so very delighted to have them return to us once again.

Normally for our cake smash sessions, we keep things neutral. That way our clients can bring any special props and accessories they like or take advantage of our minimal, modern set. We knew from the off-set that Gabe’s mum would be highly skilled at planning a fantastic jungle themed set without any help from us. After all, her instagram name isn’t Displaylady for no reason! (Go see for yourself!). When she told us what she had planned we were all very excited and she certainly didn’t dissapoint. All handmade with love for her little boy to look fabulous in his first birthday get-up. Personally, when I had a one year old, I could barely find the time to tie my own shoe laces never mind design something as epic as this. Lois I take my hat off to you, you’re a super mum and this is one very lucky little boy!
