Newborn Photography

Newborn Photography is such a precious experience. It captures your little person and documents their first photo shoot for all to see. Time goes so fast that they really are a once in a lifetime experience. We have a cosy little studio in the heart of Horsforth and we are just waiting to meet you all.

On the blog this week is baby Sidney. The cutest little boy you ever did see. Just look at those cheeks. He came to the studio with mum and grandma on a rainy day here in Leeds. He was cool, calm and relaxed. That was until we had to undress him. Well he was not a happy bunny. However, once swaddled he was as cool as a cucumber again.

Neutral backdrops work really well because they will suit everyone’s homes once you come to printing them. Newborn Photography can have colour scheme’s but we feel neutral is sometimes best. It also helps babies features shine. Not taking any emphasis off of them with lots of colour in the background. Sidney however, wanted a bit of colour in his shoot. What followed was a poo explosion like no other. Luckily, Katie the photographer brought her spider reflexes into the studio that day. She was quick off the mark to catch the explosion so we didn’t have any stains on the backdrop. No fabric was hurt in the making of this newborn shoot.

Yawning little Sidney was such a dream to work with. Minus the poo. He was so relaxed which helped mum and gran enjoy the whole session stress free. We really hope we get to shoot Sidney again. Maybe when he’s a big boy and has better control of his bladder. Until then, take care Sidney. We loved you.
