A backdrop fit for a Star!

WOW! Would you all please look at this incredible backdrop. Made completely from scratch by this little ladies mummy. How lucky is she to have such a creative mummy? This cake smash is definitely one to remember. We set up this backdrop fit for a star one bright Monday morning in Leeds. Mum had a vision and went with it. And of course we were all game. We were blown away by the effort and skill Shaan’s mummy put in. Collaging her first year in the world, these backdrops showed the unconditional love a parent has for their child.

Shaan loved exploring the studio. She showed us that cheeky little smile as she walked around and showed us her pretty little birthday dress.She had a beautiful pristine cream birthday cake. However, this is a cake smash and you all know what happens next.

In went the wooden spoon, which she used to bash the top of the cake with. Next up was a little lick of the cream icing. SUCCESS! After giving the taste test the green light, it was time for those tiny fingers.

Mum and dad each got stuck in breaking off big bits of cake for the birthday girl. She even let them feed her like the queen she truly is. Ultimately, dad went a little too far and ended up putting Shaan’s bum directly on top of the cake. This little star decided now was the time for her diva moment. She was having none of it and quickly removed herself from the mess.

This really was a cake smash for a star. Shaan did not disappoint. Thank you for being amazing little lady. We’re specifically thankful to your amazing mummy for creating a backdrop fit for a star!
