Silly, fun and memorable family portraits

Having a portrait done at our studio is more than just a quick snap and then leave. It is about getting the family together, no mobile phones or distractions. Taking time to get close, laughing with each other, being in the present moment. We’re not only capturing a time frame of your life but also capturing the present moment, being “in” the moment and creating a happy memory within our studio. We see all kinds of people come into our small, simple little space. People come when family are visiting from abroad, occasionally when a member of the family are unwell, babies while they are still small or sometimes bringing in an elderly relative and wanting to record as much as they can, while they still can. Each day people walk in, sheepish and nervous, quiet and self conscious. It is rare people like their photographs taken, especially around people they know. We know this and we cater for this. Our number one aim is to make the expeirence as fun as possible and as relaxing as possible. That way when our clients leave, we sit behind the desk, watching as that quiet family that first arrived just an hour ago, are now buzzing, full of energy, smiles and laughter. Knowing that in that hour, they have bonded that little bit more and are content in knowing that not only is it recorded in their memory, but also in print forever more. Photography to us is an essential part of life. Something that will make the next generation smile and the generation after that. It is a record that can remain on this earth much longer than we do. Something that says “I was here”.
