Newborn Baby – Imogen

On the 25th of July, I was excited when newborn baby Imogen came to visit us with her parents for her Newborn Shoot at our Horsforth studio in Leeds. In 2016, I was fortunate enough to be able to be the photographer at Imogen’s parents’ wedding. So to be able to go on to do their daughter’s newborn photos has been such a pleasure.

Imogen was a delight to have in the studio. She was well behaved and remained a joy throughout. Imogen laid peacefully snuggled up in our soft fabric. Sleepy baby photos are the best photos to capture as we can sometimes catch them doing a cheeky smile as we did with Imogen.

Whilst Imogen was sleeping, I was able to swaddle her in these gorgeous creme and white coloured fabrics. The colours look lovely on Imogen as they compliment her skin tone really well. Placing flowers around a baby adds more colour and a floral effect to the image. Once swaddled, I was able to put her into different positions and sit her up with the help of her parents. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to capture as many photos with her eyes open as she was so sleepy.

I was lucky enough to take some photos of Imogen with her parents as a new family of three. The way that her parent’s look at her just shows how much love they have for their new baby.

It was so lovely to see the couple again and to finally meet their new baby girl. Congratulations on your bundle of joy, she is just perfect. Welcome to the world, Imogen!
