Beautiful little Lilly Newborn Session

Photography vouchers are an amazing gift for parents expecting as the results are timeless memories which can be kept forever, this is the case for this beautiful little girl. Lilly arrived just in time for Christmas just four days before, what a special gift as a first grandchild of the family too.

During her photoshoot she didn’t settle at first but after 2 hour she was amazingly peaceful. Yep two hours you read that right and that’s pretty normal around here.

Lilly’s parents were so lovely and chilled you would think she was their second or third baby not their first! Lilly’s parents were so awesome to chat to, her Mum told me a story that just two days after giving birth she felt Lilly was a bit lost in the Next to Me crib in their bedroom so, on Christmas Eve of all days, she rushed on her own to Asda to buy a small bassinet to lay her in which came as a surprise to the check out assistant whilst everyone else were rushing about buying last minute food supplies – its amazing what hormones can do!

I personally learned a lot from these two being pregnant myself at the time. We had a good chin wag and they were such a wealth of knowledge even with such a young baby. Even though I was always in two minds between breastfeeding and bottle fed I knew either way my baby would grow up happy and healthy. I could see this in Lillys situation as she was bottle fed and enjoyed so much being fed by both mum and dad and having that close bond equally between parents seems rather priceless. Lilly was born under 6 hours, If only I could learn how to do that that would be good too!

For the photos they wanted photos of Lilly in the flower ring, which kind of goes without saying really which I think we pulled off great. Just take a look for yourself!
